7901 2RS MAX – Angular-Contact Radial Bearing

Discover the high-performance 7901 2RS MAX angular-contact, MAX-Design radial bearing, engineered specifically for mountain biking applications. With dimensions of 12mm x 24mm x 6mm, this ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove race design, grade 10 balls, and full-contact double-rubber seals for exceptional protection against dirt, water, and debris. Developed by Enduro Bearings nearly 20 years ago, MAX-type bearings offer 35-40% higher load capacity than standard radial bearings by maximizing the number of balls through a custom ground slot in the races, providing superior lateral support for twisting and multi-directional forces common in mountain bike pivots. When correctly installed and adjusted, these bearings engage all balls to distribute forces evenly, reducing friction, minimizing wear, and extending bearing life. Ideal for suspension pivots, they are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls. All bearings feature dual-lip labyrinth seals for optimal protection and are filled with 90% Almagard high-pressure grease. Static load capacity is 560lbf (2.49kN), with a weight of 12.12g.
